野柳地質公園
您的北部與東北海岸一日遊將從野柳地質公園開始。這個位於新北市萬里區的地質公園是台灣北部海岸的主要景點之一，擁有許多獨特的岩石地形，這些地形是由風和海水侵蝕形成的，包括蘑菇石、棋盤石和化石等。最著名的岩石地形是標誌性的“女王頭”，這是一塊看起來像英國女王伊莉莎白輪廓的蘑菇石。每年，“野柳夜遊”都會舉辦燈光秀和水舞，吸引數萬名遊客前來觀賞夜晚點亮的女王頭。除了女王頭，還有其他值得一看的奇特岩石，如海蠟燭、仙女鞋、薑石、大象石、冰淇淋石、吻石和公主頭等。

十分瀑布
午餐後，您的行程將前往新北市平溪區的十分瀑布。這是該地區最受歡迎的景點之一，常被稱為台灣的“小尼亞加拉瀑布”，因其瀑布形狀類似北美的尼亞加拉瀑布。在十分瀑布附近有幾個觀景平台，遊客可以從不同角度欣賞瀑布，甚至可以近距離觀賞。在晴天，如果運氣好，您可以捕捉到由於瀑布的水霧形成的美麗彩虹，這座20米高的瀑布將水濺入湖中。

Pick Up at MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, Exit No. 2
Yehliu Geopark Your day tour to the northern and northeastern coast of Taiwan begins with a visit to Yehliu Geopark. Located in the Wanli District of New Taipei City, Yehliu Geopark is one of the premier attractions of Taiwan’s northern coast. It is home to a number of unique rock formations created by wind and sea erosion, including mushroom rocks, chessboard rocks, and trace fossils.
The most famous rock formation here is the iconic “Queen’s Head,” a mushroom rock that resembles the profile of England’s Queen Elizabeth. Every year, the “Yehliu Night Tour” features light shows and water projections, attracting tens of thousands of visitors who come to see the Queen’s Head illuminated at night.
In addition to the Queen’s Head, other remarkable formations such as the Sea Candles, Fairy Shoe, Ginger Rocks, Elephant Rock, Ice Cream Rock, Kissing Rock, and Princess’ Head are also worth a look.
Jiufen Village (lunch on your own arrangement) The next stop on your day tour is Jiufen, a hillside village in Ruifang District, New Taipei City. The village thrived in the 1940s due to the gold mining industry and subsequently fell into disrepair for many years. Although its golden age has long passed, this small village still has many stories to tell.
The award-winning movie “A City of Sadness,” directed by the famous filmmaker Hou Hsiao-hsien, was shot there. Its unique historical background and melancholic atmosphere have drawn global attention. The success of the movie revitalized Jiufen’s tourism, making it one of the most popular destinations in northeastern Taiwan.
While in Jiufen, it is recommended to enjoy a cup of tea at a teahouse, where you can appreciate the picturesque scenery along with freshly brewed tea. Jiufen Old Street winds along the hillside and offers a unique experience compared to other old streets. In addition to teahouses, you can sample various local foods and purchase souvenirs. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss trying the traditional Jiufen dessert—Taro Balls!
Shifen Waterfall After lunch, your tour continues with a visit to Shifen Waterfall in Pingxi District, New Taipei City. This is one of the most popular attractions in the area, often referred to as the “Little Niagara Falls” of Taiwan due to its cascade-type waterfall, similar to North America’s Niagara Falls.
Several viewing platforms near Shifen Waterfall allow visitors to see the waterfall from different angles and get a close-up view. On sunny days, if you are fortunate, you may capture a beautiful rainbow created by the mist from this 20-meter tall waterfall as it splashes into the lake.
Shifen Old Street (Sky Lantern Release) Shifen Station is located along the Keelung River, downstream from the waterfall area. Originally built for transporting coal during the Japanese occupation, the station is now a historical landmark.
Shifen Old Street is lined with souvenir shops, sky lantern shops, and eateries. You will find many people preparing to release sky lanterns onto the railway track. You will have the opportunity to experience this special tradition. Usually, 3 or 4 people share one lantern, with each of you writing your wishes on one side. Your tour guide will teach you how to release a sky lantern correctly, allowing you to fully enjoy this tranquil and peaceful moment.
At the end of the tour, you may choose to disembark at Xinyi Shopping District (Taipei 101) (return to your hotel by yourself) or be directly dropped off at the original collection hotel to conclude this pleasant journey.
