It was difficult to find any yelp reviews for Chinese speaking travel agencies so after doing a walk in a meeting one of their sales, I felt comfortable enough to send them my life savings to take my family on a week long east coast tour.  Overall everything went pretty smoothly and was as described.   

Maybe next time I’ll try them out for plane tickets.

We joined Choicest Holiday’s 8 day VIP tour in Taiwan last month, led by May from San Francisco. I have participated in numerous tours in my past travels, and I believe this was the best tour experience I’ve had so far.

The following listed are what I believed were the highlights from this tour: 

1. We were able to stay in top hotels, including LaLu, Shangri-La, Evergreen, and many others. The agency arranged enough time each day to let us enjoy the stays at these elegant hotels.
2. The food provided throughout the trip was delicious. One of the main reasons everyone on this tour enjoyed it so much was because the food served was well prepared. The Lunches and Dinners were not only great quality and delicious, but were presented well and were diverse. It was exciting that we were able to eat at Din-Tai-Fung , one of the highest ranked restaurants as our last meal with the tour. 
3. Safety was at the top of their list. Both the tour guide and May were very professional and mindful of everyone’s comfort and safety throughout the trip. The bus driver also did not drive aggressively: he made minimal lane changes, drove at constant speed, and was courteous to other drivers. , In Hualien, they even switched from driving a bus to having us take a train to avoid unnecessary risks in the mountain passes.
4. The entire schedule was relaxed; our wake-up call was 8:30, time allowed for breakfast was 1.5 hours, the hotel check-in time was usually around 5 pm. This meant that we could take our time to enjoy each site, as well as the hotels, instead of blurring through the day as other tours sometimes do.
5. The bus rides always included entertainment., Not only was our tour guide very knowledgeable about each destination, we were also able to participate in Karoke on the bus. Everyone enjoyed taking part, and we were all very impressed with May Ma’s talent–her voice and stage presence made Karoke a lot of fun. 
6. The package price is $500 more than most other agents, but from my research,  Package C from Choicest -Holiday is $400 to $600 cheaper than trying to replicate the tour (destination, hotels, food) on my own.
7. I believe Choicest-Holiday deserves 5 stars for their service, organization, trip design, and price, especially with this package.  I strongly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a high quality tour.

We’ve just come back from a Taiwan round island VIP tour organized by Choicest Holiday, it was such a wonderful experience. They arranged things so carefully and make sure the activities are suitable to all ages.

Excellent food for all three meals everyday. Hotels were so nice, especially the Lalu next to the Sun Moon Lake, very impressive to stay and eat there. The tour guide was very professional, we learned so much about Taiwan from him.

I bought tour packages from Choicest holiday for many years just didn’t know they are on Yelp, we were very happy with their services and tours they’ve provided. We took their European tour in May this year and we had a very nice trip as well.

My recommendation is do not just go with the cheap tours, everybody understands that you get what you pay for, they do need to compete with other tours provided by other Chinese travel agencies, a lot of things are out of their control if the price is too low. I often book private tour with them, you can pick the places you want to go, what kind of hotel and food you want to have, they can arrange the whole trip base on your needs including the arrangement for all transportation, we got private car and a tour guide at each destination. Lot of people don’t know you could do that and many travel agencies won’t do that for you, but Choicest Holiday did that for me for many destinations, of course it is bit expensive compare with the regular big group tours, but you could pick the places you want to go and go with your own pace.

I have been traveling with them for a long long time! They are almost like my friends who are professional in traveling info and will always give me good suggestions which tours would suit for my personal favorites! 

To sum up: Great service, Very helpful and HONEST, and price is reasonable.

My friends and I just took their 4days/3 nights tour to Yosemite, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. Situ was really nice when she booked tour for us. Tour guide William, Bruce and rest of crews were nice and knowledgeable too. Only down side is sometime you have to wait other touristes when they don’t get back to bus on time, but this is not tour company’s fault.

Let me just start out saying…Choicest holiday is the best travel agency I’ve ever dealt with on tour packages/plane tickets/bus tours and hotels they do it ALL…I travel often with family and friends every year. They have the best deals especially to Asia.

For me customer service plays a big part. The agents there are professional they definitely know what they doing.
