| ★『Changdeokgung Palace』is the second royal villa built after Gyeongbukgung Palace in 1405. Changdeokgung was the principal palace for many of the Joseon kings, and is the best preserved among the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. The rear garden that was used as a place of rest by the kings boasts a gigantic tree that is over 300 years old, a small pond, and a pavilion. The palace grounds are comprised of a public palace area, a royal family residence building, and the rear garden. |

| ★『Namiseom Island』 was formed as a result of the construction of the Cheongpyeong Dam. It is a half moon shaped isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty, King Sejo (reign 1455 ~ 1468). Namiseom Island is 63 km away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. The island is 30 minutes away from Chuncheon and an hour away from suburbs of Seoul. Since it is not far from Seoul, many couples and families come to visit. |

★『Namdaemun Market』Opened in 1964, the Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with various goods in store. All products are sold at affordable prices and the stores in this area also function as a wholesale markets.
Most of the goods are made directly by the storeowners. Namdaemun Market opens from 11:00pm to 3:00am, and is crowded with retailers from all over the country. When day breaks, the site of busy Koreans bustling around the market, creates a unique scene that attracts tourists worldwide. The Namdaemun Market sells a variety of clothes, glasses, kitchenware, toys, mountain gear, fishing equipment, stationery, fine arts, accessories, hats, carpets, flowers, ginseng, and imported goods. |

Day 3 |

After breakfast, we shall have a fresh start at the Garden of Morning Calm, considerably a Zen version of the Kew Gardens; herewithin you shall have your senses evoked by the aromas from the myriad of flowers and trees (including bonsai). Thereafter, we shall visit the captivating Nami Island, stroll along the Redwood-lined Road, the Lake and Chuncheon Myeongdong. Nami Island is the location where many scenes were shot for the drama 「Winter Sonata」- a drama that stole the heart of the whole Asia. A tragic love story of four high school classmates, Jeong Yu-jin, Gang Jun-sang, Kim Sang-hyeok and Oh Chae-rin.

| → Seoul City Tour - Changdeok Palace - Namsan Hanok Village - Namdaemun - Dongdaemun - Ginseng Museum - Amethyst Hall - Insadond Antique Alley - Han River Cruise |
After breakfast enjoy a Seoul City Tour including the visit Changdeok Palace (The Palace of Prospering Virtue), one of the "Five Grand Palaces" bulit by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. Thereafter we shall proceed to the Presidential Blue House and Nansam Hanok Village where Korean traditional houses have been restored to preserve the old shape of the area. Later we shall proceed to the famous Korean Ginseng Center and the authentic Amethyst Hall. Late afternoon is the time to explore famous shopping areas of Seoul - the South Gate and the East Gate, the ideal location for purchasing local crafts and souvenirs. We shall stroll along Insadong Antique Valley, noted for its congregation of anything "old", which is a pleasant experience. We shall end the day with a relaxing Han River cruise, enjoy the breeze and the nostalgia of old Korea.
